I didn't know what to expect when I started reading this. But all I can say is I am so happy that I did pick it up and read it. Usually when a book is this short, I tend to complain that it should be longer, but in this case, adding anything more to it would have ruined the story. I love the build up and never knowing what to expect next.Product details

As a fan of BDSM erotica I really enjoyed the book. The story kept me engaged from beginning to end. Best of all, I was not expecting the turn of events at the end...SURPRISE! )
Well written, sexy and believable. The main character has a mind (and voice) of her own, in contrast to most submissive characters in fiction.
If you like your slaves feisty, witty and strong, this is the author for you! This specific work is a jumping off point for my fandom.
A very interesting read with an incredibly surprising ending. The flow of the story is fairly slow at first, but picks up quickly at the end. There are a few hints at the start, but wonderfully small. I highly recommend this book. Perfect mixture of sex, mystery, and action.
Extremely well written story, combining an exciting mix of romance, sexual heat, And S/M in an highly charged glimpse of a different culture and world - where ghosts and Gods are real, sex and slavery and modern conveniences like computers are all smoothly integrated. The sex I and S/M are very graphic, but are part of the story - not just gratuitous salacious events.
This short story is set in the "future" or "current time" of the planet Gethis, and makes the reader eager to learn more about the planet and it's unique history and culture.
Normally in these types of books, I can identify with the main character on some level. But there was just something about the character that I intensely disliked. Even in fiction, there needs to be a click. The style of writing and the sheer arrogance of the world also put me off.
This book is poorly written with plotting that comes out of nowhere and nowhere for the reader to feel sympathy for our narrator who is getting raped. She definitely knows BDSM details and overwrites that so that I was left wondering why what happened happened. There should be room for actually weaving a tale that makes sense to uphold the rest but Rose doesn't do that. She's in much need of an editor.
